Ghana Tourism Grows in 2025: 1.3M International Arrivals

Ghana’s tourism industry is growing fast.  The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts announced that Ghana recorded 1.3 million international tourist arrivals in 2025.This is an increase from 1.2 million tourist arrivals in 2024 According to Tourism Minister Abla Dzifa Gomashie, the exact number of international visitors to Ghana in 2025 was 1,306,962, up from 1,288,804 in 2024. Ghana Tourism Revenue Hits $4.3 Billion The growth in arrivals also means more revenue for Ghana.  In 2025, tourism in Ghana generated $4.3 billion in receipts. Another report placed the figure at the $4.34 billion This shows how tourism is becoming one of Ghana’s biggest contributors to the economy, supporting jobs in hotels, tour companies, transport, food, and cultural businesses.
